My moped bike I built

Check out the mode bike I built. Took me a few hours to put together but it's awesome. I suggest all college kids have one for getting from class to class.

Getting Around On A College Campus

Today I had an 8:30 am final for Statistics. While arriving to the building which the final was being taken in, two kids happened to fly by me each on a 50cc Moped. When they finally came to a stop by the building, I walked over to the two of them to talk to them about these mopeds they were riding around campus. They went on to tell me that they each had a moped since before they came to college. They told me how they used to right their mopeds all around town and use that as there main source of transportation over the summer since the weather was so nice and riding a moped is perfect for warm weather.

On campus, they use their mopeds to go to classes across campus but more importantly they use their mopeds to go off campus. Going out for food or supplies has been simplified with these mopeds. Other people struggle with getting rides off campus or taking a bus or train, but with a moped these two kids are able to go any where they want with these vehicles. Mopeds are an all around very useful vehicle for any type of person to be used year round.

The future!

I was just walking downtown and saw some kid fly by me on a 50cc Moped and the thing looked sick. I'm definitely going to look into buying one in the near future. There are many types of 50cc Mopeds to choose from. I have no idea what style moped I want to call my own. Seeing a vehicle like this out around town has really got me curious about this unique style of transportation. These mopeds are basically bikes with motors. Who likes peddaling nowadays anyways? I get tired of it all the time.
With a vehicle like this, it gives you the opportunity to do both and that is what makes this vehicle so special. My first moped is going to be tricked out and having many different features to it. Some different things that I would add to my moped would include unique rims, paint jobs, and pegs. With all of these features it will allow me to bring another person while looking good all at the same time. This type of motorized vehicle is going to be the new style of transportation in the future and will be a more efficient ways to young kids to get around as well as older people. With an economy and environment like we have these days, a vehicle like this is inexpensive and gets great gas mileage. Having the advantage of pedaling also gives the driver a way to exercise while being able to power the vehicle. A 50cc moped is definitely a vehicle for the future.

Building A Motorized Bicycle

I've  been thinking about building a motorized bicycle for some time now, and I finally bit the bullet. Just a week ago I purchased a motor bike kit to hook up to my mountain bike. After about 9 hours of building this thing I finally finished it. The kit came with some instructions on how to build the thing but they were literally awful directions. It took me so long to figure out some parts I just couldn't believe it.

This kit itself is an amazing idea. Essential the motorized bicycle kit comes with everything you need to turn a basic mountain bike, into a full on moped. Why wouldn't you just buy a 50cc Moped?

There are many reasons why I would rather moped bikes over mopeds. The thing that catches my eye the most is the price itself. When it comes to buying a moped now of days your talking 600-1200 dollars for a descent moped. I mean come one but what college student would be able to pay that much for a moped. More than half the cost of the moped comes free by having your own mountain bike to begin with. After that your looking at around $200 for a motorized bicycle kit. That's a heck of a lot better than paying $600.

Another advantage that is also a huge advantage is my eyes is the fact that you can also pedal the moped like a normal bicycle. After the installation of the kit the normal chain for the bike is still on there and fully functional. Having the ability to pedal as well as use the engine is an essential aspect of these vehicles. Mopeds that have pedals are fantastic for many reasons. Run out of gas? No problem finish your short journey home by pedaling. Pedal mopeds are great for college campus for students who use their moped on a daily basis and also don't mind going on a nice bike ride every once in a while.

When it comes down to it I feel having a moped with pedals is ideal for the situation I'm in. I'm currently a college student that has class over two miles away from my apartment. I can't stand walking to class, so I went and bought myself a moped bike kit. It's finally done being built and I ride it to class every day. It's such a relief. I can actually some what sleep in not and not worry about being late for class.

College Is Near

College is near and my 50cc Moped is all ready to go for campus life. I just got a tune up on my ride and she's in mint condition. My 50cc moped is perfect for the life of a college student and and I suggest all college students look into getting one themselves. I use my moped for various things throughout the week.

Whether it's driving it to class. Driving it over to a friends place to hang out. Taking it out to the library to do some studying. Or any little errand that needs to be done around campus. Having my moped is so awesome for many reasons. My main reason is the fact that I hate walking, and this completely eliminates walking. Plus when driving my moped I don't have to carry anything. My 50cc moped has a little trunk on the back that holds all my books and things I need to bring to class. Mopeds are perfect for college campuses and I don't know what I would do without mine.

New Trunk!

So lately I've been lacking storage room on my 50cc moped, and I decided it may be time to buy a new, bigger trunk. So after some time researching trunks online, I came across this one trunk which I really liked a lot. It was about 2 times the size of my previous one, and could fit a whole bunch more.

The trunk itself was designed to be sleek, and fit the moped perfect. I definitely think I chose the right one this time around. The trunk matches my moped perfectly, and doesn't stick out like a soar thumb like I thought it was going to. Now with my new trunk I can fit all my books for all my classes at once. This is awesome so I don't have to take my books out of my moped when I'm going to the library, or a friends apartment to study, or do homework.

When it comes to 50cc mopeds, you can beat the fact that you can just hop on and go wherever with such fantastic gas mileage. I mean come on my 50cc moped gets about 78 miles to the gallon on average! Thats amazing!

Once my new trunk was installed I gave my old trunk to my brother because he was lacking a trunk on his moped period. All this time he had been strapping his belongings to the back of his vehicle with a bungee cord. Kind of ridiculous, but hey you  gotta do what you gotta do right?

First Time On A Moped Like This

Today I road this sweet 50cc moped that my friend had at his house. It was the first time I had ever road one that was quite like this one. I swear I had never seen anything like it. I swear it was like a 50cc Moped with pedals. I was driving this thing around going from using an engine, to using the pedals. It was amazing!

With this type of moped the possibilities are endless. If you run out of gas, bam, you can switch to the pedal bike. If you simply want some exercise, you can cut the motor and ride it like a bike. Or if your simply using it as a bike to begin with, and you don't want to pedal up this massive hill, you can switch over on over to the moped.

I really love these 50cc mopeds now more than ever. If I was to get one I feel I wouldn't get anything other than this type. I mean why not get an old school moped, with the pedals built into it? You really can't beat it. I mean the thing gets upwards of 100 miles to the gallon to begin with, and then you can pedal it if you run out.

Moving To The City

My wife and I are thinking about moving into the city, but there's so much that goes along with it. Our biggest concern about moving into the city, is transportation. We both decided that we want to avoid using our cars, and possibly get rid of them completely. Parking is terrible anyways, so having a car would just be non sense for us. We decided that maybe getting a moped of some sort would put us in the right direction.

After some research here and there, I narrowed it down to a 50cc moped that we both like. 50cc mopeds are fantastic vehicles and are super efficient, reliable, and exactly what we need for the city life. The moped that I'm looking at gets 80 miles to the gallon, and is suppose to be perfect for driving around cities.

50cc mopeds come in all different shapes, sizes, and colors, but we've decided on this awesome red and white one.

We both love the sleekness of this particular moped, and the paint job on it. After reading some reviews on it, I decided that it was a good, quality chinese moped to purchase. After reading all this stuff about moped, we want one so bad that making our decision on moving into the city is getting that much easier! I mean affording a moped is 100 times easier than affording a car. And especially maintenance as well.

50cc and Mopeds

Why a 50cc Moped? Throughout this page I will explain why these mopeds are so efficient in our lives today.

THE MOTORINO MOPED

The very first Mopeds were simply motorized bikes with pedals. Some say, combining the word Moped with Pedals, the name "Moped"was born. Mopeds are very convenient, low powered alternative to an every day car.

What does it mean by 50cc? The term "cc" stands for Cubic Centimetre. A lot of vehicles such as a dirt bikes, four wheelers, scooters, and mopeds, are measured by the amount of cc's the engine has. Engines normally vary anywhere from 50cc-1000cc, depending on the vehicle.

When you combine 50cc with Moped, you've got yourself a 50cc Moped! A moped, which has an 50cc Engine in it. Most people buy 50cc Mopeds because their engines are sometimes only 49cc, which makes it legal in some states to drive it without a license. Any amount of power over 50cc, you must provide a valid motorcycles license to drive that particular vehicle on the roads.

-Get the best use out of your moped.

What people don't understand is the fact that their gas will get man handled in slow, stop and go situations. For instance, in a city or on a college campus. These areas are terrible for cars, always stopping, and going, and slowing down. When you accelerate in a car, that's when you lose the most gas. If your always stopping then your always accelerating.

50cc Mopeds are super efficient for sorts of areas. Mopeds are popping up in cities and college campuses all over the place. Most Mopeds only have a 2-3 gallon tank, which means your spending around 7-10 dollars on a tank of gas which will get you 70-100 miles. I mean when you think of it, you really can't beat that.

Advantages of a 50cc Moped.
  1. Very affordable, way less than any vehicle.
  2. Less gas, tank is no bigger than 2-3 gallons.
  3. Most 50cc's are actually 49cc, which allows you to drive legally on the roads without a license.
  4. Getts anywhere from 70-100 Miles To Gallon

If your thinking about getting a Moped, then you're thinking correctly. You really won't be dissapointed. The upside of having one is just too large. You WILL save money, and you WILL be more efficient in every way. Check out all of our 50cc Vehicles at http://www.50ccworld.com

Nice Joy Ride On The Moped

Today my brother and I took our 50cc mopeds out for a stroll around town. It was a nice sunny day out and everything was just so wonderful. We started off going down town to grab something to eat at our favorite restaurant "Anthony's". We did a couple of passes up and down the downtown strip and then headed to the east side of town.

We stopped at our friend Mikes house and played some video games for an hour or so, it was awesome. We love playing Halo online. We conveniently parked our 50cc mopeds off to the side of the driveway, and they took up no space at all. Thats what I like about our mopeds. Their small, affordable machines that take up no room and are inexpensive to use and maintain.

My 50cc moped is black and my brothers is yellow and red.  His does go a bit faster than mine, but that's cause he tweaked the engine with his mechanic friend, and they won't do mine. I'm kind of bummed but, eh, someday!

Lets Start A 50cc Moped Trend!

I find myself crusing around campus on my 50cc moped every day, and I wonder to myself why more people don't use these things. I mean it's one thing to ride a bike, because that's even better than a scooter in my eyes. But if your going across campus and need to get their fast, a moped is perfect. Below is a list of reasons why I feel 50cc mopeds are perfect for every day use, and how we should start a trend!

  • Usually get upwards of 70-100 Miles To The Gallon.
  • Easier to find parking for.
  • Gas money becomes way less.
  • Their not to expensive at all to buy.
  • Maintenance becomes less, if any at all.
  • Most maintenance can be done alone.
  • If it's under 50cc, no license is required.

Those are just a few reasons why 50cc mopeds are awesome. In a car, driving across campus can be tedious, and use too much gas. While with a moped, going across campus is perfect, and uses very little gas. Not to mention the tank is like 3 gallons maximum. Which means, depending on where you live, it only  costs about 10-15 dollars to fill the tank.

If you haven't looked into getting a moped or scooter at all, I suggest looking into it. My moped was the best Investment I've ever made.

Why I Need To Get Myself Another 50cc Moped

With the economy all over the place now of days, driving can be a bit of a pain in the you know what. Gas prices are up and down and up and down, no one in their right minds wants to spend money on stupid gas. With trucks and SUV's alone filling a gas tank can cost up to $100. Even cars with great gas mileage still cost a hefty $30-$40 to fill a tank. Some people may not think this is a lot of money, but to some people its a good chunk of their money.

Whats the solution you ask?

There are many different things we can do to better our spending when it comes to gas. More people are starting to walk, bike, or take buses to where they need to get to. When it comes to short trups such as, going to the convenient store, going to a friends down the street, or getting to class across campus, are examples of situations you want to avoid when it comes to using a car. A car gets it's best milage on the highway, with a steady, fast speed for the engine to sit at. At the other end of the spectrum is where it gets it's worst milage, and that's the stop and go, slow traveling situations. Driving through small towns, campuses, or neighborhoods can be a pain for your gas tank.

Is there a better, more efficient vehicle?

I've been doing some studying on mopeds and It seems to be one of the better solutions when it comes to transportation. I visited Europe for a month and a half and it seemed like the majority of the people over there had a 50cc moped to use throughout the city. I began to do some research and found that these 50cc mopeds get upwards of 100 Miles to the gallon. Now if that isn't a life saver than I don't know what is. The tanks on the mopeds hold about 1-2 gallons, which means it only costs $5-$10 to fill the tank, which will get you anywhere from 70-100 miles usually.

50cc Mopeds are fantastic for many situations. Like stated about, cars are worst in small areas where stopping and going is constant. Well for a moped these situations are perfect. A large percentage of college students now of days own 50cc mopeds to travel from class to class, or appartment to appartment. It beats driving a car around any day.

Places like campuses, small cities, and neighborhoods are perfect for mopeds. If you live in an area like this, and your sick of driving your car around and wasting gas, then I suggest making the investment and purchasing a 50cc moped. The mopeds themselves are pretty inexpensive to begin with which is a plus to the hole investment. I bought my moped for around $650, which is way, way, way less expensive then any car or motorcycle out there.

I feel everyone living in any of the types of areas stated above should definitely consider purchasing one of these vehicles. It will better there lives in many of ways.

50cc, Perfect Amount Of Power.

When it comes to the amount of power in your moped what makes the most sense? Well to begin, mopeds are measured in CC's. They usually range anywhere from 49cc-500cc. With dirt bikes and four wheelers, they can have as much as 1000cc or greater! Mopeds are fantastic for getting around small towns, campuses, or neighborhoods, and don't require as much power as other vehicles.

I have a 50cc moped myself and I find it to be perfect for what I need to use it for. I own 2 50cc mopeds, one is my screw around moped, and the other is my fancy, in good condition moped which I take good care of! Both mopeds are 50cc, and perfect for the campus I live on. Getting from class to class has never been better.

Most 50cc vehicles are actually 49cc, which is a huge benefit. Anything below 50cc, can be drivin on the road legally without a license to drive. Idealy you want a 49cc so you can drive it without going through any trouble getting a license and such.

I feel 50cc mopeds are your best bet if your going to purchase a moped. Anything more than that is just too much power, money, and size!

50cc Mopeds With Pedals?

When you think of a 50cc moped, you think of this small, motorcycle looking vehicle that you sit on and drive around town in. Well think again, I've recently found this super cool moped that doubles as a bicycle! I call them "Moped Bikes". A moped bike is super cool for a lot of reasons. One, probably the best reason, is the fact that you can kick out these cool pedals and pedal the thing around if you run out of gas!

The best thing about 50cc mopeds is the fact that they get amazing gas mileage, and their fantastic for driving around small cities, campuses and neighborhoods. With a moped bike, you can do all of the above, plus more! Run out of gass? Not a problem, moped bikes have that second option of a bicycle built right into them!

What I really like about this partocular 50cc moped, is the fact that it KIND of looks more like a bicycle then a normal moped whould, but at the same time you can clearly tell its a moped. And the fact that the pedals are pretty hidden from plain view is also very cool. When you need to right the moped as a bike, you simply kick on the pedals from their hiding spots, and bam! You've now got yourself a bicycle to ride.

Whether you just want to save some gas for the hills, or just want some excersize, a moped bike gives you it all.

Check out which Moped Bike I purchased:

Found This Sweet Moped Today

I was walking around campus today and saw this 50cc moped chained to a bike lock. It was the coolest moped I think I've ever seen. The moped was a 50cc moped, red, with black trim. It was very sleek, clean, and looked almost brand new. I was like dang! I wish I could ride this thing. Sure enough the kid walked out and next thing you know I'm on the thing cruising around campus! Ofcourse I gave him my license just incase I was to take off and never return!
I think 50cc mopeds are so clutch for students on campus. Whether your using it to get from class to class, or simply to get to a store to grab some milk or a case of beer! The moped i saw today actually had a sweet looking trunk on it, big enough to fit a 30 pack of beer! Now that's what I'm talking about. It also has a rack on the front which he stored his books for his classes. I think I want to get one of these mopeds to help me at school. There awesome for campus and city life, get awesome milage, and are pretty affordable!

A 50cc is perfect for most people. The best thing about this particular size is that you don't need a license to drive them on the road. Well 49.5cc that is. Anything below 50cc and your good!

Awesome Moped Bike, I SO WANT ONE

I was looking stumbling around the internet the other day and I came across this awesome Moped Bike. A moped bike is essentially what it sounds like, a moped and a bike combined! When I first saw this thing I wasn't to amazed by it at all. But once I read a bit more about it I came to realize that it indeed was an amazing vehicle.

 THE MOTORINO MOPED

Bike mopeds are fantastic for college students, or simply people living in the city. With gas prices going through the rood, these moped bikes are fantastic alternatives to driving a car in short, city, or campus like areas. These things can get up to 100 miles to the gallon! I mean you show me what care gets remotely close to this much.

The best part about a Bike Moped is the fact that it turns into a bike! Yes! If you run out of gas, no need to worry! These 50cc Mopeds actually have pedals that fold out of the side. No gas left? No problem, I have a bicycle as well! It may look a little goofy at first, but hey, Id rather be pedaling this moped the pushing it from the side! Am I right?

I think I'm going to invest in one of these mopeds sometime soon. I go to school on a very large campus and getting back and forth from classes, stores, or friends houses, is just a pain in the you know what. Having a Moped Bike would be fantastic!

Moped Bikes

Today I want to talk a bit about Bike Mopeds

What is a Bike Moped you ask? Well also known as a moped bike, these vehicles double as a moped, and a bicycle. While these amazing vehicles already get such amazing gas milage, to top it off they have pedals so if you run out of gas you can pedal like a normal bicycle. How awesome is that?

Here is a picture of one of these amazing vehicles below.

I feel that these types of mopeds have got to be the best bang for your buck. I mean come on lets be honest? You got 100 miles to the gallon originally, and if your stupid enough to run out of gas you can pedal home! I mean need I say more?

50cc Mopeds: Fantastic Choice For City Or Campus Life.

Living in the city can be a pain in the butt. Having to drive these tedious drives just to get certain things you need around the house can be a hassle. With gass prices being so all over the place now of days it's tough to want to get into your car at all. Driving short distances and having to stop and go all the time can kill your gas in your car, and also kill your wallet. I've been living in Boston for about 3 years now and if theres one thing I've learned to my advantage is that having a 50cc Moped is absolutely the best investment I've ever made.

50cc Mopeds can be extremely convenient in a number of ways. The best thing about my moped is the fact that it gets up to 100 Miles to the gallon. That's right, 100 MPG. Now you tell me what car gets remotely close to that many miles per gallon. Whenever I need to run to the corner store, or down to a friends place I just hop onto my moped and bam I'm there. Living in a city is great with a 50cc moped. Theres no need to go any faster than 30-40 mph when driving around the city, and with all the stopping and going having such good miles to the gallon is a huge advantage. Using my car for high way trips is acceptable, but as far as I'm concerned, I wont use anything other than my 50cc moped while driving around the city!

50cc ATVs, Perfect For Children

Deciding what to get for your little one? Whether it be a dirt bike, four wheeler, moped, go kart or tike, it's a tough decision. When it comes to making this decision, safety, and reliability must come first. What's the safest most reliable vehicle out of them all? I'd have to say the ATV. Children ages 8-14 should be driving 50cc atvs at their age.

Check out this 50cc ATV

When it comes to purchasing a little vehicle for your child, a 50cc atv has it all. Safety, reliablity, affordable, and much more. Having four wheels eliminates the chances of your child tipping the vehicle, which could lead to engine burns, and much greater danger.

There are many reasons why I feel 50cc atvs are great for children ages 8-14. If your interested in a 50cc atv, for more information visit http://www.50ccworld.com today!

Why College Students Should Consider 50cc Vehicles

Whether it's a moped, dirt bike, go kart etc. all college students should consider a 50cc vehicle to help them around campus. Why's this your ask? Below I will discuss a few good reasons why I feel college kids should consider one of these vehicles.

What most people don't know is that 50cc vehicles are most likely 49cc. What's this do for you? Well when it comes to riding a vehicle on the road, you must have your license for that particular vehicle. But there is one rule that over turns this. If the vehicle is under 50cc, then you can drive it on the roads without a license. When it comes to a college campus, this is perfect. No hassle trying to get your license, nothing extra to pay for, and no going out of your way to take driving courses etc.

Being able to drive these vehicles is half the battle. How about the fact that most of them get upwards of 100 miles to the gallon. That's right, I said it, 100 miles to the gallon. With a 1-2 gallon tank, your looking at 3-8 bucks to fill your tank, which will take you a long ways. Unlike a car, which has a 15 gallon tank, and gets about 15-30 miles to the gallon, there's really just no comparison.

Having one of these on a college campus is a huge advantage for students. Cars are known to get their worst mileage in small areas, like cities, campus, etc. This is due to the large amount of stopping, then going, then stopping then going. When a vehicle starts from 0 and accelerates, this is when the most gas is used. Having a car on campus is definitely convenient, but at the same time can be very expensive. Having a vehicle that gets 100 miles to the gallon can be a huge difference maker when it comes to the size of your wallet at the end of the day.

I myself have a 50cc moped which I drive around school. I attend the University Of New Hampshire which has a large campus with so much going on. Kids crossing roads everywhere, cars and scooters and mopeds and dirt bikes all over the place. Things get hectic when driving around campus, and having a 50cc scooter had to of been one of the best decisions I made during my college career. I save anywhere from $30-$60 in gas every week alone! I know, your jealous.

Heres my moped:

I just love 50cc mopeds, and I will never use anything other than one until we change the way we go about transportation. Hopefully sooner than later everything will be powered by natural, more efficient forms of energy.

Crazy Night!

So last night I was driving around town on my sweet moped and I started getting chased by this dog! It was the craziest thing that's ever happend to me. This dog was huge and vicious as all hell. He eventually bit my leg and ripped my jeans up, it was awful. I kicked it into gear and sped away from him. But regardless it was wicked scary, and I would hate if something like that ever happend to me again. Good thing it was a 50cc moped so I had enough power to get away from him.

Good thing they make 50cc Mopeds or I would have been screwed!!!!

50cc Moped Crashes.

Would you look at these freaking people. Some of these crashes are just down right hilarious. Imagine flipping one of these 50cc mopeds. Jeeeeees. Half these people aren't even wearing helmets I mean give a break! I love myself a good 50cc Moped. I have one of my own and I love the thing. Had it for almost 4 years now and the thing is still bootin around like it's brand new!

Perfect For College Students

Every college student thinks the same thing. Ahh I don't want to walk to class this morning! It's such a far walk and I'm content with not moving from this couch. Well that might not be all students but you get the point. 50cc Mopeds are a perfect solution to this problem.

What is a 50cc moped you say? Well this type of moped is a perfect sized vehicle to do your every day to day needs. Running to the store, going to a friends, and most importantly going to class. Not only are they practical for a students day to day agenda. But they are also super efficient and affordable as well.

An averagee 50cc scooter gets 70-100 miles to the gallon. Now compare that to a car and it will blow any vehicle out of the water, without a doubt. So lets think about this here. It does everything we want it to do for us, and its affordable, reliable, and efficient....What more can you do being a college student who most likely has a low paying job if any at all. Paying for school is tough, getting a moped is a solid solution for a quality price.
