50cc Scooters

Next time you sit down in your car to make a run to the corner store, think to yourself, how long is this trip going to take, is it worth getting in my car and driving there? I mean lets think, most vehicles get 15-25 miles per gallon. Now the corner store we’ll say is roughly 5 miles down the road for most people. Now a few simple calculations and we come to conclusion that 5 miles there and 5 miles back 10 miles total. Thats almost 1 gallon of gas wasted to just go grab a gallon of milk! Now most cars tanks only hold about 20 gallons. There’s got to be a better more efficient way.

As far as my family goes, we have 2 cars which we use for trips that are necessary for using a car. Ether carrying a lot of luggage, going a far distance, or bringing multiple people along with you. If someone needs to go to the corner store, we use our 50cc moped. Our moped is very nice and efficient. It gets well over 100 miles to the gallon which is unheard of compared to a car.

Now I wouldn’t say go out and completely eliminate your car completely. But for quick errands, lets say…grabbing a gallon a milk from the corner store, or picking up your brother from a friends house down the street. There’s no need to use a car. Just jump on the moped and you’ll be there and back in no time and waste almost no money or gas period. Why get in a big vehicle and waste an absurd amount of gas to go right down the street and back again?

I got my family a 50cc moped about a year ago, and ever since I bought this thing, my life has been a lot easier. I save hundreds of dollars on gas each year, which I can put toward something else. With gas prices going up and down now of days who knows what’s going to happen. I think buying this moped was one of the best decisions I could have made for my family. I feel every house hould should have some sort of 50cc Scooters, or gas moped or something along the lines of it. They’re practical, efficient, and most of all, GREEN!
